Life happens from the inside out
It is common for us to try to shape our lives from the outside in, believing that we need to have or do something externally in order to finally feel happy and fulfilled.
But perhaps it is worth trying the opposite movement: looking within and recognising what, within ourselves, may need to be transformed. Often, it is this inner change that allows the outer world to gradually adjust.
What we encounter outside can help us understand what is happening within. By observing our lives, our choices and the results that arise from them, we can recognise what we want to transform within ourselves.
It is a gradual process that we weave throughout our lives. Working on ourselves allows us to bring out the best in us, so that we can share it fully with others.
“As above, so below.
As within, so without.”
— Hermes Trismegistus
Perhaps it is within ourselves that it is worth beginning to look for the changes we wish to see in our lives.
