Time
Life is a long journey, a great learning experience. Who knows the paths of life? Who knows the designs of the cosmos?
The universe is wise; it has its own rhythm, and everything happens in its own time. And when will the time be right? Now? When it is, we will know. In our impatience, we want everything to happen yesterday, but the cosmos, in its wisdom, smiles lovingly and asks us to wait: “Everything in its own time.”
The rain falls when it has to fall, the sun shines when it should shine, the wind blows when it has to blow, and so it is, within and without. Sometimes castles and walls are built; at other times, they are destroyed, and so it is.
These are the cycles of life. What remains standing in the face of all this constant transformation? Ourselves, different with each new cycle that begins, ready to build and unbuild ourselves again, until we truly find ourselves, in our essence, because only that exists.
“I know. The world is a wild wasteland. Its paths are such that each of us remains confined to ourselves, inaccessible, somewhere in its farthest reaches.”
